One of the biggest problems for those who are debating on whether they want to go with a real tree or an artificial Christmas tree is that they feel as though the artificial trees are not real looking enough to satisfy their visual desires. However, the artificial Christmas trees of today are not what you found years ago. After all, the first artificial Christmas trees were made from goose feathers and then later went on to be made with bristles. And as time has passed, more and more companies have found better ways of making these trees look realistic.
If you are worried about your artificial Christmas tree not being life-like enough, there are also a few tips that you can use to make it seem as though you do have a live tree in your home!
- Instead of just putting a rug around the bottom of the artificial Christmas tree, opt to get a base that looks like it is holding water. There are several out there that are designed to highlight your artificial tree in its best light.
- Burn a candle that smells like a fresh-cut tree. If you do this in a hidden spot, most people are going to think that this is coming from the tree that you have set up in your home.
- Opt for a type of artificial Christmas tree that is meant to be modeled after their real-life counterparts. You will find it much easier to make this appear real if you are using something that is so near to real in the first place.
- Decorate this heavily just as you would a real tree. Just because this is an artificial tree does not mean that you cannot treat it as if it will hold up a lot of decor items. Which it will. Too many times, people make the mistake in thinking that since it is an artificial tree it cannot handle the same decor, which is just not the truth.
For those who are using an artificial Christmas tree for the first time, they are going to find that this can be just as real looking as if you had a real tree. If you do not treat this differently, other than not having to water it, which is a removal of stress for most people, then you will find that it will enhance your home or office for the holiday months.
