When Christmas rolls around, and the prelit Christmas trees are decorated, it is the time that many people start going ahead and wrapping and putting presents under the tree. For those with kids, they may not be able to do this…especially if the kids still believe in Santa. But, that doesn’t mean that you cannot go ahead and put some presents for other people under the tree! Those who are wanting to do this with their prelit Christmas trees will find that in doing this, they are adding even more decor to the room, which means that it may be important to you to match your wrapping paper to the colors that you have used on your prelit Christmas trees. Many people do this, as it just adds a little something more to the entire room.
Master the Art of Wrapping Presents Under Your Pre-lit Christmas Tree!
With this being said, wrapping presents is a skill that some people have, and other people may struggle with. Whether you are a pro or just want to be better, we have a few tips that can help you for wrapping presents this year!
1. Busy patterns can often be easier to wrap with since you are not going to see if you made a mistake with taping this together!
2. Having the right tools make all the difference. This means having a pair of scissors or even a rotary cutter can make this easier. Using dull blades is going to rip paper and cause tons of issues.
3. Use double-sided tape so that you are not seeing the tape on the outside of the wrapped present.
4. Always cut more off the roll than what you think you will need. This ensures that the box can be wrapped fully.
5. The creases around the box need to be sharp. Many people find that using their nails to crease the edges is just what they need. If you have no nails, then consider using a Popsicle stick with a little force behind it to get the same results.
6. If you are wrapping ribbon around this, always be sure to cut the ribbon at an angle to help this look more professional.
7. And don’t forget to ensure that what you are wrapping is secure inside the box. This is especially true if you will be traveling with this present to another holiday gathering. So use tissue paper, bubble wrap, or even packing peanuts to ensure that the item is protected.
